* Focus Sounds "Short e" and "Long e" Vowel Sound

First listen repeatedly to the video clip to train your hear to hear the sounds. Then, repeat after me.

Focus Sound Short "e" left column.

This should be in the "sounds" section of your notebook.

Focus Sound short "e".

Long "e" Left Column

The problem my students have with the long vowel sounds is, they don't take time to actually make the sound correctly. Slow down. Don't continue on to the next sound until you make the long "e" correctly.

Long "e" middle column.

This is where you really need to slow down. It is when long "e" has a sound before it and after it, you don't complete the actual long vowel sound. Be careful. Slow down.
